Whites are more than half of the production and can be defined by being crispy and saline. The reds tend to be refreshingly herbal and light in structure.
● Fun facts:
Liguria is a place for "heroic" viticulture. Many a vineyard is steep and on terraces and at times requires a cablecar system to collect the grapes from the hills.
